whatever you do … make sure you experience beauty and calm

The Workshop Series

  • MAKE IT.

There is nothing dreamier than a garden that mimics the colors, shapes and textures found in an undisturbed natural landscape. Cultivated correctly, the garden should look effortless and harmonious. One way to achieve that landscape is to use vessels that blend into the palnts, not the other way around. Hypertufa is perfect for its rustic visual but lightweight and porous material. We will teach you how to make hypertufa vessels to create the garden oasis of your dreams.

  • CREATE it.

You might have memories of pressed flowers in an old book or framed in your grandmother’s home. They have sentimentality but they also freeze time and memories in a unique and meaningful way. There are so many ways to create with pressed flowers. We will make presses together and teach you everything you need to know to preserve beauty. Once you know how to press the right materials, you can let your mind wander into the artistic opportunities available with these everlasting treasures.

  • DESIGN IT.

Join us Sunday May 5th from 10am -12pm to celebrate and appreciate caretaking in all its forms. Mothering isn’t limited to biological relationships, it is a recognition of deep unconditional love. This year we want to invite any and all “mothers” and the people that love them to come to the farm for a flower filled experience. A farm tour, light snacks and a flower arranging class with the best seasonal flowers and foliage will be how we spend a few hours. Honor your “mother” with a peaceful day spent on our flower farm.
